Jesse Marr and Partner Geoff Brethen obtain a judgment, plus costs on behalf of their client Big 5 Sporting Goods.

In a recent trial in Contra Costa Superior Court, Jesse Marr and Geoff Brethen obtained a judgment of $295,000 plus $11,000 in costs on behalf of client Big 5 Sporting Goods in a suit against Icon Health & Fitness, Inc. Big 5 filed the action after Icon refused to honor its contractual obligation to defend it in a lawsuit involving an allegedly defective Icon product. Big 5 settled with the plaintiff in the underlying lawsuit for a waiver of costs.
