Jack Begley is an accomplished Associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He passionately advocates for the interests of employers facing complex employment litigation challenges. With a proven track record in defending employers across all litigation stages, Jack brings his extensive knowledge to bear on claims filed by current and former employees, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour (PAGA) claims.

Mr. Begley excels at defending employers against a wide range of employment claims, ensuring that his clients receive vigorous representation throughout the legal process. He is adept at developing comprehensive legal strategies, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and responses. He possesses a keen understanding of motion practice, including motions, motion oppositions, and summary judgment motions, which are critical in securing favorable outcomes for his clients.

Mr. Begley’s proficiency in witness interviews and deposition preparation allows him to build strong cases and present them convincingly in court. He is committed to providing his clients with exceptional representation and clear communication throughout the legal process. Prior to his time at Musick Peeler, Jack worked for a Los Angeles-area law firm focused on defending California public entities. There, Jack achieved a favorable decision on a motion for summary judgment in which the Superior Court upheld a police officer’s termination. Jack also worked at another Los Angeles law firm focused on plaintiff’s employment law. There, he managed 80 cases and drafted several successful motions, including a published decision by the Honorable Dolly Gee in Fradkin v. Wunderlich-Malec Eng’g Inc., No. CV 19-6492-DMG (SKX), 2019 WL 7940670, (C.D. Cal. Nov. 5, 2019).

Mr. Begley received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, and he is a proud member of the California State Bar.
